Asia Pacific Pump Valves Successfully Developed a Kilowatt Large Submersible Pump

Recently, Jiangsu Asia-Pacific Pump & Valve Co., Ltd. has jointly developed a kilowatt-class super-submersible electric pump in cooperation with Jiangsu University. The submersible pump has a maximum power of 1250 kilowatts, a pump flow of 20 cubic meters per second, and an efficiency of 87%.

The submersible electric pump relies on the advantage of the R&D platform of the Jiangsu Provincial Enterprise Technology Center and the Jiangsu Provincial High-power Submersible Pump Engineering Technology Research Center to overcome the difficulties of underwater integrated installation and automatic coupling devices, sealed waterproof and sand-proof devices, and other problems.

It is understood that the submersible pump has been applied in water projects such as the Huaihe River into the seawater in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province.
